This is a drill powered automatic wire stripper used to separate the sheathing from 1.5mm², 2.5mm², 4.0mm², and 6.0mm² solid core metric copper building wire. The use of wire other than copper is not recommended. It is for use with plastic type insulation only. This wire stripper was designed  to be affordable, durable and user friendly. There are no adjustments to be made and no cutters to replace.  The unit comes with a 1/2"(12.7mm) shaft to connect to your drill or drill press. The unit must be operated at an RPM of 400 max. for 1.5mm², 2.5mm², 4.0mm² and 300 rpm for 6.0mm².  This unit is not for use with AWG (American Wire Gauge)
