for the RF-602 set. The receiver has a 1/4"-20 female mounting thread, a female hot shoe, and a proprietary locking output port for versatile connection and mounting. They function with a FSK 2.4 GHz frequency on one of 16 channels and have a far-reaching range of 328'. It can also sync at speeds up to 1/250 second and has dual-function shutter release with half-press and full-press capabilities. Also, it comes with a cable with a 3.5mm sync cable and a 6.35mm adapter for operation with a variety of strobes and studio lighting equipment. It runs on 2 AAA batteries. (New batteries installed)

A little back-information -- the RF600TX is the Transmitter part of the "RF-602" Wireless flash system. You need a Transmitter (this product) and Receiver (RF-602RX) - the transmitter goes on the cameras hotshoe and the receiver goes with your off-camera flash up to 100m from the transmitter. When you take a picture, the transmitter (this product) sends a wireless signal to the receiver and triggers the flash. Since it uses radio signals, it's much more reliable than "line of sight" infrared transmitters. The downside is that it's manual control only (so you need to set the flash power manually).
